Whipping up a party.

There's nothing my friends and I enjoy more than throwing a party and snapping photos of said party. The guest list may be small and the event may be last minute and low-budget (most of the time!), but we wouldn't do it any other way. So what excuse did we come up with for a party this time? ;] Our friend is leaving for Europe this week so we threw her a cute "bon voyage" party. This post is dedicated just to the food. Can you tell she likes strawberries and whipped cream?

I love the texture of this cake. I also love that whipped cream is a much lighter alternative than frosting. You can eat a bunch and it doesn't weigh you down!

Gotta have strawberry daquiris! Well, smoothie is more like it.
